Research shows that you can associate feelings of pain or feelings of pleasure to anything.
This means that you can actually control how you feel about something.
Repetition is a big key to making this work.
Take for instance, if you are someone who loves ice cream and wants to decrease your weight, do the Shock and Awe technique everytime you desire that waffle cone from Baskin Robbins.
You will subconsciously create a negative anchor in your brain to chocolate or ice cream or whatever else that you are craving at that time.
You will actually build neural pathways to associate your food craving with how fat you look in the mirror in the same way you would build a pathway to become addicted to smoking.
As you can see, this is a very, very powerful technique!

Shock And Awe, and other mental techniques play a very important role in any detox diet.
